Jazz Ringtones

Polyphonic ringtones for the Sony Ericsson T610 (and other phones, no doubt) are simply standard midi files. I have collected here some pleasant sounding midi files.

These are polyphonic midi files, principally jazz piano solos. Solos sound best because all the voices occur on one instrument and tend to be level balanced better than mixtures of different instruments.

The easiest way to get a ringtone onto your phone is to simply e-mail or sms this URL to your phone:

http://elf.org
Select the URL from your phone and follow the obvious links to the ringtone of your choice. You'll be visiting a different set of web pages than you see in a normal browser because the server is serving different content to wireless devices.

These ringtones come from various sources, where many other very excellent midi files may be found. Here are direct links to the current catalog of midi files if you wish to preview them or download to your PC for offline transfer to your phone.

And here are the sources where these midi files came from and where you can find more midi files of this sort.
